Here is my remake of Your A Jerk by New Boyz. Growing up I was a big fan of New Boyz music and their simplistic approach to music production. Many of their songs consisted of just an 808 deep bass an 808 drum kick, a clap/snare, a hi-hat, some form of melodic sound playing throughout and a vocal loop. Here is my take on Ride It by Jay Sean. Musically Jay Sean has been a significant influence on my development as a musician throughout my years growing up listening to his material. Ride It was the first song I had ever heard from Jay Sean and straight away I was hooked. The way the song is composed in a way that allows the artist's voice to shine without overpowering the vocals with many different sounds. Here is my take on River Flows In You by Yiruma. Using Fruity Loops and the VST plugin True Pianos I re-created the addictive piano melody. Separating the piano into two tracks, I was able to play the main melody followed by the bass chords individually. I fell in love with this piece of music when I first heard it used in the film Twilight. Lee Ru-ma or Yiruma as he known by is an incredible pianist and somebody that I look up to when creating music.

Here is my take on Celine Dion's My Heart Will Go On. Using Fruity Loops and True Pianos one of my favourite Virtual Instruments or VST for short I created the main melody that you hear playing throughout the song. 

Here is my take on Stevie Hoang's I'll Be Fine. Using Fruity Loops or FL Studio for short I was able to recreate the basis of the track using only default Fruity Loops sounds and plugins. The main sound in this song consisted of a simplistic piano melody with a 4 bar bass chord. The drums were set to loop through and contained a kick, clap, hi-hat and snare. 

Here is my take on Vanessa Carlton's A Thousand Miles, using Logic Pro on Mac I was able to remake the song. Ever since I started making and writing music, I could always listen to songs on the radio, and after hearing them a few times, I was able to understand how that individual track was composed. The ability to play music by ear has always been one of my star qualities, and A Thousand Miles was a classic back in the early 2000s especially with its infectious piano melody.
